Automotive Mineral Oil

There is a product sold in automotive stores called "Z-MAX." I interviewed the Lead Chemist in charge of the Z-Max product. He said that the product is "the most refined mineral oil on the planet."

I am trying to find the closest alternative mineral oil to Z-Max. Am I paying $40.00 a pop for a few oz's. of baby oil?

I have been using the Z-Max product for 15 years. I know it works miracles in engine wear in engines. I'm wondering if simply pouring the same amount of baby oil in the motor and gas tank would do the same thing and 1/15th the cost.
