The healing properties of the element, Bismuth relieves symptoms of isolation, both spiritually and emotionally. As a stone of transformation, it calms disorder and helps push changes in the right direction with a physical vitality, connecting to “all that is”. Energy is transformed from the crown chakra to the base chakra, which is something other stones don’t do. It can be used on all chakras. The power of wisdom can be actualized through Bismuth.

As a healing crystal it lessens catatonic states and has been used to diminish fevers. Because it stimulates energy, it can clear the biological field, and help you enjoy the journey towards achieving a goal through the togetherness of teamwork, groups or relationships. It improves concentration and visualization during Shamanic journeys.
In helping to transit from a physical plane to an astral state or spiritual realm, it provides for continuity in travel for a pre-established plan. Ruled by the planets of Venus and Saturn, it is believed to have a relationship as a messenger of the Goddess and messenger of the Gods, in a connection to Aquarius which is also ruled by Saturn.
Bismuth is a heavy, brittle silver-white crystalline that transforms with tinges of pink to red. It naturally occurs with an iridescent oxide tarnish that reflects a full spectrum of colors including blue, yellow and green, as well. Bismuth crystals are typically laboratory grown where Bismuth is melted and a rod is placed in the molten metal and pulled up slowly, which allows crystals to form as it cools.
Known for amplifying energy, it is effective in healing or color therapy, and low grade Bismuth can be a single color, where high grade is a rainbow of colors that can allow many different therapies in color healing.
Only mercury has a lower thermal conductivity and it is considered to be the last naturally occurring, stable and non-radioactive element on the periodic table. It is linked to the zodiac sign of Aquarius, and vibrates to the number 2. Crystal shape can occasionally be hexagonal, but typically forms in masses.
It has been used in cosmetics, medicine and is frequently substituted for lead in commercial products. Bismuth has been known to exist for centuries and in the 1700’s it was found to have separate qualities than other metals near it on the periodic tables, in fact, it is a byproduct of processing of other metal ores, like lead, tungsten, tin, copper and indirectly, silver.
Bismuth Oxychloride is an ingredient in some mineral makeups that adds a glow to your appearance.
China has been the world’s top producer of Bismuth, with over 40% of the world share, with native Bismuth being found in Mexico, Peru, Australia, and Bolivia. Larger quantities of bismuth is used commercially, especially in soldering of electronic components and because of scattering in recovery, smaller particles are then recycled into other things like cosmetics and metals in a crystallized dust. It would be hard to find anything that could resemble the pearlescent qualities of Bismuth.
In crystal healing, it covers all chakras and is known to play a large role in the creation of free energy and is manifested as having “Philosopher Stone” traits.
