Exploding white light from a Herkimer Diamond.

I bought a Herkimer diamond yesterday. I wore it yesterday and all night. At 5AM I got up and took the pendent off to take a shower. In the dark a big light source exploded from the stone about the size of an orange and a second light from the side because has a second stone coming out the side of it. I don't know what that was but I put it back on. That was very interesting.
